For the past 10 days, I have had a wonderful opportunity to escape to the wilderness of Indian Arm (and just maybe the wilderness of my intuition). After 6 weeks on the road, the chance to wake up in the same bed for more than a week felt like such a gift. It has been 2 months since I gave up my apartment and in some ways truly left the city of my comfort. What I know for sure is that Alan Alda is on to something when he says in the above quote, “You can’t get there by bus, only by hard work, risking, and not quite knowing what you are doing.” Continue reading
